This workshop promises to give you a rare opportunity to see common herbs growing in the wild, and to learn their uses and methods of extraction. Rob guides participants into forests and high deserts to locate such herbs as Osha, Poleo, Arnica, Nettles, Mullein, Valerian, and Burdock, to name a few.
Methods of ethical harvesting, drying and processing of wild medicinal and edible plants will be covered.
Arnica and other beautiful plants like Yarrow, Lobelia, Mulein, Aspen, Barberry, and Uva Ursi grow wild in the Rocky Mountains.
