Botanical Name for Allspice: Pimenta officinalis

Allspice is native to the West Indies. It is sometimes referred to as “Jamaican Pepper” due to the fact that the berries resemble peppercorns. The spicy, rich fragrance of Allspice inspires calm, lifts and promotes connection.

Oil of Allspice Blends Well With: sweet orange oil , bergamot oil, lavender essential oil, essential oil of geranium and ylang ylang EO.

Method of extraction: The essential oil of Allspice is derived via steam distillation of the flowers and /or leaves.

Allspice essential oil uses, recipes and mixtures:

• To soothe muscles mix 2-3 drops of Allspice Essential Oil with 1 oz of carrier oil. Massage affected area.
• Diffuse and breathe.
• To change the "blues" to greens add a couple of drops in a burner or vaporizer
• Apply a few drops to a clean cotton cloth and add it to the dryer to impart its inviting essence into your linens and help promote sleep
• Also used for digestive issues (Always consult a licensed practitioner)
